Plan Submittal

Central Fire District conducts plan reviews of all new residential and commercial construction for compliance with fire and life safety codes. The District works in conjunction with the City of Capitola, and the Santa Cruz County Building and Planning Departments for all new construction and tenant improvements within Central Fire District’s jurisdiction.

If you are unsure if your property lies within the Central Fire District boundaries, you can check your address on our Interactive District Map page, to see if it's within the boundary lines.

If you have any additional questions about plan review, please contact our Community Risk Reduction Division at (831) 685-6698.
