Fire District Elections are managed by the County of Santa Cruz Elections Department. Elections are held in November of even years. Terms of office are four-year staggered terms.

Central Fire District operates on a District-based electoral system. This system divides our District into separate geographic areas, where voters choose their representatives, who must also live in that District representation area.
