CPR Classes

CPR is a lifesaving technique that is useful in many emergency situations, including heart attacks and near-drownings where someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped. Knowing how to perform CPR can dramatically increase the chance of survival for patients in these types of emergencies if bystanders can begin CPR until emergency responders arrive on the scene.

Central Fire District now offers quarterly CPR classes free to the public, typically scheduled on Monday evenings, from 6 PM to 8 PM. They are held at our Administration Office meeting room at 930 17th Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95062. You can sign up for our CPR Mailing List to be notified when new classes are available to the public. Space is limited, so advanced registration is highly recommended. You may register for classes directly on our online portal
