Request for Proposals - Mobile Breathing Support Apparatus
Central Fire District of Santa Cruz County is seeking proposals for a mobile breathing support, scene light and rehabilitation apparatus. The District is looking for vendors to provide quotes for the complete cost to build and deliver an apparatus that provides breathing air support for self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), robust scene lighting package, and provide space for rehabilitation and overhaul equipment. The apparatus will be built on a commercial chassis capable of carrying the weight required. The build will comply with all CalTrans, DOT, NFPA, NIOSH and CAL OSHA requirements.

Submitted proposals must include one printed hard copy and an electronic version, formatted in PDF or Word, and shall be delivered in a sealed envelope addressed to:

Identified as ‘mobile breathing support’ on the exterior of the envelope.
Proposals can be delivered by hand or by mail. Mailed proposals must be delivered by the deadline. Postmarks will not comply with the deadline.
